Flamenco is a dance from Spain, noted for its energetic, emotional and highly-expressive style. Flamenco dancers are known as bailaores and bailaoras.

In a typical of flamenco dance, a dancer will often stand motionless and free of expression at the beginning of the song. As the music progresses, the dancer will begin a steady beat of loud hand clapping. Then, as the emotion builds, the dancer will begin a passionate dance. The dancing often involves fierce stomping of the shoes and hand clapping. Castanets are sometimes held in the hands for clicking and fans are occasionally used for visual impact.

Lion Air Now Flies From Surabaya To Singapore

Lion Air, Indonesia’s largest private airline, recently launched a direct route from Surabaya to Singapore. Surabaya, located in East Java, is Indonesia’s second largest city. Other airlines which serve this route are China Airlines, SilkAir and Valuair.

Lion Air will fly its signature Boeing 737-900 ER aircraft on this route.

Flights from Surabaya depart daily at 8 AM local time and arrive in Singapore at 11:20 AM local time. Meanwhile, flights from Singapore depart at 12:10 PM and arrive in Surabaya at 1:30 PM.
