A unicorn is derived from Latin words unus 'one' and cornu 'horn'. In modern popular image, it is a mythological creature that takes shape of a horse differing only in the horn on its forehead. Traditionally, a unicorn can also has a billy-goat beard, a lion's tail, and cloven hooves—these distinguish it from a horse.
Legend met reality recently as Italian researchers discovered a deer with a rare abnormality - a single antler growing from the middle of its head. Rossell Lorenzi tracks the find. Watch the sightings of the deer unicorn below:

The China Pavilion is one of the most popular pavilions in Shanghai Expo 2010. The China Pavilion, "The Crown of the East," has a distinctive roof, made of traditional dougong or brackets, which date back more than 2,000 years. The dougong style features interlocking wooden brackets and is one of the most important elements in traditional Chinese architecture.
The pavilion has three major highlights: Oriental Footprint, The Experience and The Future.
Oriental Footprint tells stories about China's vast development from rural to urban areas over the past 30 years of reform and opening-up, people's enthusiasm for building a better city and expectations for the future. The famous painting of "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" (清明上河图) which captures the daily life of people in ancient China is made into a huge animated movie and projected along the pavilion walls.

For those unfamiliar, Vuvuzela may sound like a type of cheese (Mozzarella). However, those two are totally unrelated. Vuvuzela is a long, brightly colored South African trumpet with elephant-like sound, made of plastic. It's widely used on soccer matches across the country and without exception in the World Cup 2010 as well.
The use of Vuvuzela in the 2010 FIFA World Cup has been a subject of controversy due to safety, noise and health concern. FIFA saw the instrument as a potential weapon for hooligans. Players and coaches are extremely annoyed with its concentration and communication-disturbing sound. In fact, the world's largest working Vuvuzela (35 m/115 ft) in Cape Town sponsored by Hyundai which was intended to be used at the beginning of each match had not yet sounded a note during the World Cup as its volume was a cause of concern to city authorities. Nonetheless, in the end, despite the criticisms, FIFA agreed to permit their use in stadiums during the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup and 2010 FIFA World Cup.
A closer look of the Vuvuzela, the noise-making trumpet.
How to play this instrument?
Simply put your lips inside the mouthpiece and blow. You can experiment with your blowing frequency and intensity to produce a less monotonous rhythm. Don't forget to blow really hard to reach a ridiculously loud 'boogying blast'!
Added to above, lately there has been a spin-off of the widely popular Guitar Hero game that promotes Vuvuzela as the musical instrument. The spin-off game is called Vuvuzella Hero. It is not playable (yet hopefully) but there has been video previews of the video game.
To commemorate the release of Blizzard Entertainment's StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty game, Korean Air has painted two of its Boeing 747 aircraft in StarCraft II livery. The game which is massively popular in South Korea will be released worldwide on July 27, 2010.
